How many people are actually riding?
Count the real headcount, not the maybe list, and count what comes with them. Of the groups that have asked us for a quote with a headcount, 58% were 14 people or fewer, which is why our 20-passenger party bus is the vehicle most of those conversations start with. A stretch limousine seats fewer and works when the group is small and the night is formal. A coach carries 30 to 56 and is the only sensible choice for a wedding guest list or a convention team. Bags, coolers, garment bags, and anyone using a mobility device belong in the count, because a seat count on paper is not the same as a comfortable ride.
When is the party bus the right vehicle?
When the ride is part of the event. Wrap-around leather seating means everyone faces each other instead of the back of a headrest. The laser light show and sound system make a 20-minute loop up Las Vegas Boulevard feel like the first stop of the night. A 21-and-over group brings their own drinks and we keep ice and bottled water on board. Bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, club crawls, and a wedding party heading to the reception all live here. The bus also has the headroom and floor space to stand up while boarding and to move around at a stop, which matters for a group of 16 in going-out clothes.
When does a limousine make more sense?
When the group is small and the arrival is the point. Six people in black tie going to one restaurant and one show do not need 20 seats and a light show; they need to step out of a stretch limo at the resort's front door and have the photo. Couples on their wedding day, an anniversary dinner, a proposal, a small group heading to a residency show at the Sphere or a Strip theater. A limousine is also quieter, which some groups want for the ride home. If your group is 8 or fewer and dressed up, ask us to quote a limousine alongside the party bus and pick the one that fits the night.
When do you need a coach bus?
When the headcount will not fit anything else, or when luggage is involved. Wedding guest shuttles from the hotel block to a ceremony at Red Rock or a reception at a resort ballroom, a convention team going from a Strip hotel to an off-site dinner, a company outing to Allegiant Stadium, an airport group with bags: those are coach trips. The awkward range is 21 to 30 people: too many for one party bus, not enough to fill a full-size coach. For that range we will talk you through a small coach versus two vehicles, and the route usually decides it.
How do I compare the two on a quote?
Ask us to quote the vehicle class you are choosing between, on the same date, hours, and route, and compare the totals side by side. A limo quote and a party bus quote are only comparable if everything else is the same. Then ask what is included on each, how an added hour is priced, and what happens if the vehicle changes. Photos on this site show the class of vehicle we arrange; your quote names the exact one, so read that line. If you still cannot decide, tell us what the night is and how many are coming and we will recommend one. Most of the time the headcount decides it for you.
Local details that change the plan
- Some Strip resort entrances cannot take a coach at all because of height and length. If your group needs a coach, we confirm the loading point with the property before the day.
- A stretch limousine gets the front-door photo at a resort in a way a bus does not; buses load at a tour lobby or bus entrance.
- For a small group doing a dinner and a show, a limo is often the cleaner ride. For the same group doing three clubs, the party bus wins.
- Standing and seat-belt rules stay with the driver on every vehicle we arrange, including the party bus.
